A Revolutionary Pan‑African Film & Media Experience
Co-hosted with UniMAC–IFT (Institute of Film and Television at the University of Media, Arts and Communication), the Abibitumi Abibifahodie Film Festival is a global celebration of African sovereignty, ancestral pride, and Black liberation.
Taking place in Accra and Mampong, Ghana, this hybrid (in-person & online) event is the official film centerpiece of the 2025 Abibitumi Conference. We unite scholars, activists, artists, and filmmakers from Africa and the diaspora to engage in transformative dialogue through cinema, workshops, and screenings.
