IAS Mona Film Screening

This groundbreaking documentary uncovers the untold story of the Haitian Revolution—the world’s first successful Black-led rebellion that overthrew slavery and colonial rule. More than a history lesson, 1804 is a story of resistance, identity, and Black liberation.

After the screening, we’ll open the floor for collective reflection on the film’s themes and their relevance to Pan-African empowerment, revolution, and today’s struggles for freedom and self-determination.
