A Revolutionary Pan‑African Film & Media Experience
A Revolutionary Abibitumi 'Black Power' Film & Media Experience The Abibitumi Abibifahodie 'Black Liberation' Film Festival is not just a showcase—it’s a movement. Designed to amplify authentic voices of Kmtyw 'Black People', we challenge "white" narratives and uplift stories of Abibifahodie 'Black Liberation', Abibitumi 'Black Power', and the restoration of Ma’at. This groundbreaking festival reimagines cinema as a tool for Black liberation, education, and BlackPowerment placing Kmt 'The Nation of Black People' at the creative forefront. Co hosted with UniMAC IFT (Institute of Film and Television at the University of Media, Arts and Communication), the Abibitumi Abibifahodie Film Festival is a global celebration of ancestral excellence, revolutionary culture, and the living legacy of Kmtyw 'Black People'. Taking place in Accra and Mampong, G ana, this hybrid (in-person & online) event is the official film centerpiece of the 2025 Abibitumi Conference. We unite scholars, activists, artists, and filmmakers from Kmt and across the global Abibiman 'Black World' diaspora to engage in transformative dialogue through cinema, workshops, and curated screenings.
