AAFF Audience Roll Call: Who Are You Bringing on October 16?

The audience for Black-controlled cinema does not assemble by accident. Each person arrives because someone made the gathering visible, extended an invitation, or explained why the work matters.

AAFF 2026 begins October 16 in Accra. Choose one person to invite: an elder carrying memory, a student learning visual language, a teacher seeking better material, an artist ready to collaborate, or a family member new to Black film festivals.

Do more than forward a flyer. Tell them why you chose them and what question you hope to explore together. Intentional invitations create intentional audiences.
