About the Festival

The Abibitumi Abibifahodie Film Festival is not just a showcase—it’s a movement. Designed to amplify authentic African voices, we challenge colonial narratives and uplift stories of Black brilliance, resistance, and resurgence.

This groundbreaking festival reimagines cinema as a tool for liberation, education, and empowerment—placing Africa and its global diaspora at the creative forefront.
